Who we are

Arquiconceptos e Instalaciones, S.A. de C.V. is a Mexican construction company founded more than 40 years ago, based in Mexico City. We bring together over 100 professionals — architects, industrial designers, engineers and administrative staff — in a 1,000 m² studio with an in-house furniture workshop.

We have delivered more than 500 projects and over 300 units for more than 60 brands, and our quality processes are supervised by the Institute of Store Planners and the Retail Design Institute. We are members of both, as well as of IIDA.

Awards and recognition

Working with international brands

We routinely take a brand's global design manual, translate it into a Mexican construction-document set with full local engineering, secure the permits, and deliver the space ready to operate — so the brand team abroad deals with one accountable partner instead of a dozen local vendors.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with international brands entering Mexico?

Yes. Much of our portfolio consists of international brands: Tommy Hilfiger, H&M, GAP, Old Navy, Calvin Klein, Chili's, Starbucks, P.F. Chang's, IKEA, Marriott, Planet Fitness, Chipotle and Suitsupply, among others. We adapt the brand's standards to Mexican regulations and execute nationwide.

Can you handle permits and mall approvals for us?

Yes. Permit coordination and expediting is part of our scope, including filings with local authorities and approvals with each shopping center's management.

Do you deliver turnkey projects?

Yes. Construction documents, pre-construction, build, custom furniture and handover of a space ready to operate, all under a single point of responsibility.

Can you open several units at the same time?

Yes. Multi-unit roll-out is our specialty; we have delivered programs of dozens of units for a single brand, with consolidated reporting on schedule and budget.

Do you speak English and work with foreign head offices?

Yes. Our team works in Spanish and English and is used to reporting to brand headquarters and regional expansion teams abroad.
